"The Cure"

By now, everyone knows the name Cipro. It is the miracle antibiotic, marketed by Bayer. Right now, it is the frontline drug being used to battle anthrax. Anthrax is the deadly bacteria that has caused near panic among some Americans.
There is an even deadlier problem that affects our spirits, not our bodies. That is the sin problem. Sin will do to the spirit what anthrax does to the body. It will suck the very life out of a person. Sin is a dreadful thing and when a person is infected with it, it is not a pretty sight.
Thankfully, there is a sin cure that is far better than Cipro at keeping us alive. In fact, there has never been a person who has not made a full recovery when they have followed God's sin cure. But, the cure is very expensive. Far more expensive than Cipro ever dreamed of being.
The sin cure is blood. Not just any blood. The unique and precious blood that has flowed in the veins of only one person in all of human history. The blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. When the blood of Jesus is applied to our sins, no matter how deeply imbedded or how great in quantity, they are totally and absolutely erased. Praise God for His sin cure!
